[attr="class","GGcontenttemp1"] CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Mikhala, in her own opinion, is one of the most beautiful people she's ever seen. She stands at five foot five with an average build. Mikhaka's hair has always been the same length, mid-back, and colour, dark dark dark brown. It made her eyes pop, besides she knew if she cut it off that she'd just have to grow it all out again; Mik long ago grew tired of her friends always bitching about cutting their hair. Mik's body wasn't lacking for curves in the right places, like a fine Italian car, and shapely legs from years of dancing and riding. Without makeup, a light smattering of freckles lay across her high cheekbones and the bridge of her nose. It was rare for her to not apply at least enough makeup to cover up her freckles when she left the house, however, because who wants to go out like that? Her plump lips, that are quick to form a smile, hide naturally straight pearly whites. Mik felt she could boast about the damn-near perfect set of eyebrows she has. Her blue eyes, though they appear icy at times, still hid some emotion... Well maybe, no promises there. Her skin is smooth, always has been; with the gentlest of natural glows. Mik has a perpetual tan that never quite goes away, Italian blood for the win!. She'd collected a fair few tattoos over the years,; the first one is a small Chinese symbol for strength on the back of her neck; one on her ankle that is a yellow and orange crescent moon overlapping a blue five-point star that looks a little like a star fish; a Shakespearean quote on her back reading “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies,”; a Nietzsche quote - “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” on one side of her ribs with a self-written poem on the other, “there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART”; and she got a tribal tattoo depicting two waves intertwined like a yin and yang design on her wrist when she was drunk once. [break][break] PERSONALITY: Mikhala comes off as friendly. her brief years as a CEO of a major corp had taught her how to seem friendly to even those she'd just as soon shove a nail file into their eye socket as shake their hand. Of course, the facade is not always perfect. after all, a facade is only but pretend. In those moments, Mik is not someone you wanted to be around, her rage was like no other. She is a hurricane, bent only on destruction. Thankfully these moments are rare. Beneath that pretense, Mik is pretty much your average person, somedays she likes to veg out on the couch for hours eating all matter of unhealthy things. Fortunately, Mik doesn't feel the need to have days like that often. She gets on well with most people, Mihkala learned from an early age that friends, enemies, even frenemies, but mostly just connections were one of the most important things she could make in her lifetime. Don't get her wrong though, don't get on her bad side, it's hard to work back onto her good side. Despite her father's careful grooming, Mik's mother's personality raised it's ugly head in the form of a cruel, twisted temper. For the most part, aside from getting the things Mikhala wants & horses, she was fairly laid back about most things. Content to just let life flow around her for the time being, especially now that she'd washed her hands of the companies responsibilities for the most part. Mik was excited to be able to focus more on horses and finding a career she actually liked. The one thing Mik struggled the most with, besides her drug habits, is failure. She was far from quick to accept defeat and is prone to becoming extremely stubborn. One should also make note of how vain Mik is, and how proud she is for achieving all she did so, what she feels, early in life. She'd managed to acquire a multi-million dollar company, family owned of course, and run it after only being out of business school for a few months. How many other 26 year-olds could say as much? Mik could be quite cocky at times, though she tried her best to hide it. Let.s not forget the jealousy, Mik had spiraled out of control on that front a few times. Mikhala has grown adapt at using that jealousy to fuel herself to better and bigger things, however..
[break][break] HISTORY: Mikhala had found herself thrown headfirst into things to do with the family company at a very young age. she'd taken extra classes, graduated early, gone to university, got her degree in just three years with a 4.0 GPA. what motivated her throughout all this, you ask? Lucky for her, not an expense was spared when it came to Mik's happiness. Vacations, lessons in whatever she wanted, clothes, a car, everything she could ever want. and, most importantly, horses. Mik's parents had used horses to motivate her, score well on this test and maybe we'll buy you that $20,000 Warmblood from France. And before you get all high on your horse of thinking that Mik wasn't loved as a child and was as such left with a spoiled attitude, she really wasn't. Her parents had given her all the attention she'd wanted while they were still around. A tragic car accident took her parents from her when Mikhala was 20. Of course she faltered a bit on her path her. She'd struggled hard to come up with reasons to keep on working towards the company. Mik would've had enough money to live comfortably for a long time at that point. However, she knew that wasn't what her father would have wanted for her so she kept on movin' along. Upon graduating Mik dove head-first into the company. Working to improve the areas she felt needed it. Five years. five years was all it took her to turn the family business into a corporation worth more than you could shake a stick at. Friends, business partners, heck people she hardly even knew, they'd all begged her to stay in the business. They all wanted a taste of the money she'd made. She was sad her parents never got to experience her actually making it big, to see her finally exceed their goal of making enough to keep herself comfortable. She was more than comfortable now, even less believable because she was only just turning twenty-six; though not surprising with the amount of cocaine she did. Don't think that habits gone away either. The choice to sell her parents place in Seattle had been a difficult one but the right one. she'd needed to start fresh. something had drawn her to this racing town and Mik couldn't help but feel excited to settle in to what she felt was her dream life.[break][break]
